Services
The whole stack,from one company.
Copperbelly designs, installs and supports the network, the cameras, the cabling, the storage and the local AI — for houses and for businesses. One engineer, one standard, one number to call when something needs looking at.
Where to start
Same stack. Two very different jobs.
The hardware and the principles are the same either way. What changes is what you need it to do, and which controls have to be in place before anyone signs anything.
For business
Local AI your compliance team can sign off on.
For practices, firms and teams handling material that is not allowed to leave the premises.
- Per-user isolation and per-user credentials
- Encrypted credential vault, row-level security
- Audit trails on privileged actions
- A governed toolset — no destructive shell access
- Rack hardware sized to keep models resident
For home
Your house, wired, watched and talking back.
For houses and outbuildings — new construction or a retrofit into finished walls.
- Whole-property Wi-Fi, cameras and structured cabling
- Smart switches, lighting, AV and wall kiosks
- An assistant you name, running on your own box
- Voice in and spoken replies, processed locally
- Works with your existing Home Assistant setup
What doesn't change
It runs on hardware you own
Storage, cameras and AI all live in your building, on equipment that is yours at the end of the job.
No subscription to keep it working
Most integrators sell a system and then a monthly fee to use it. Ours works without one.
One company, one number
Troubleshooting never starts with working out which contractor installed which part.
Built to be added to
Another room, another camera, another service later — without tearing out what is already in.
Installation & integration
We specify it, install it, and hand it over working.
Not a box on a shelf and a login emailed over. The job finishes when the system does what you asked for and you know how to drive it.
- Network and Wi-Fi. UniFi gateways, PoE switches and access points, VLAN-segmented so the cameras, the guests and the working network are not the same network.
- Cameras and recording. Placement, wiring and NVR setup, recorded locally and viewable remotely — no third-party subscription in the path.
- Structured cabling. Cat6 runs, patch panels and wall fishing, in new construction or into finished spaces. Terminated cleanly, labelled and tested.
- Smart home and AV. Lighting and switching, displays, sound and wall-mounted kiosks — configured and tuned, not just energised.
- The server. Storage, private cloud and local AI on one on-site machine, sized against what you actually intend to run.
- Support afterwards. Monitoring, maintenance and remote troubleshooting, so the system keeps behaving the way it did on handover day.
No hand-offs between the network guy, the camera guy and the smart-home guy. It is one connected system, so it gets designed as one.

How a project runs
01
Assess
Walk the building, look at what is already there, and understand how the space is actually used day to day.
02
Design
A layout matched to the building, with the equipment list and the pricing in front of you before anything is ordered.
03
Install
Cabling, mounting and configuration — VLANs, cameras, AV and the server brought online together and tested as one system.
04
Support
A walkthrough of how it all works, then ongoing monitoring and maintenance if you would rather it were handled.
Storage & media
Your files and your library, on your own disks.
The same argument as the rest of the site, applied to the least glamorous and most useful part of it: the place your things are actually kept.
Files
Nextcloud — private file sync
Shared folders, calendars and contacts, syncing to the phones and laptops that need them.
- The office drive, without the per-seat bill
- Nobody else holding custody of the files
- Capacity is a disk you buy, not a plan you upgrade
- Backed up the way you choose to back it up
Media
Jellyfin — media streaming
Films, series and music streamed to TVs, phones and browsers around the property.
- A library that cannot be quietly removed from you
- Plays on the TV, the phone and the browser
- Reachable from outside the building if you want it to be
- No monthly fee for the software
Both sit on the same on-site server as the local AI and the camera recordings, on the network we installed — which is the point. One machine, one backup story, one thing to maintain.
